Brenda's Best Christmas Coats
Posted on 04 December 2017
When I was fifteen years old I begged my mother to buy me an unlined, winter white wrap coat for Christmas. My mother strongly opposed the purchase, warning me that I would never be able to keep the coat clean and that I would freeze to death all winter! Well, Christmas morning as I opened my last gift there it was… the most beautiful, albeit impractical coat in the world. I felt like a movie star wearing that coat to school the next week! (I never admitted that mom was right, the coat was not warm and always dirty but I loved it!) That was the beginning of my absolute obsession with coats! Here are a few of our very warm, wonderful coats to put under your tree this year!
Heresis of Italy Belted Coat. I think we can all agree that this is a stunning coat! I am not sure what I love best, the fox trim or the hound’s tooth fabric!
Jane Post Travel Coat. This coat is perfect for the lady on the go! This two in one will take you everywhere! Wear it together or each piece alone.
Barrington’s 7/8 with Gold Buttons. This is such a clean, sophisticated jacket! I love the oversized gold hardware and simple stand collar.
HISO Check Duffle. Duffle coats never go out of style. This duffle has the added benefit of being totally on trend with the black and white tweedy fabric!
Barrington’s Own Cropped Jacket. This is perfect for the days when you need to up your cool factor! A cropped, zipped jacket always adds sizzle to your wardrobe!
